Advanced First Response

To accommodate the need for continuing education and to expand our training programs beyond the level of simple first aid, ADET has created a program to challenge and encourage the growth of knowledge and skills as it relates to the First Responder. This BLS (Basic Life Support) course is the Advanced First Response program!

Participants are put to the test in this non-threatening, yet challenging program. Advanced terminology, on-site skill management, hands-on practical sessions through skill and equipment applications, patient simulation, and advanced theory are just a few of the core components of this program. This level of advanced training allows each individual to increase and therefore encourage their responsibility to an injured patient as well as give advanced BLS treatment until the arrival of EMS (Emergency Medical Services).

The purpose of this training program is not to qualify one as a Paramedic or Nurse, but to promote the desire and need to expand the learning base from the level of the Basic First Responder to the level of an Advanced First Responder. On-going training is essential to the development and detainment of ones skill and ability. Unfortunately, the basic type of on-going training often does very little other than reiterate information many times over, creating the often seen repetitive training scenarios. Our Advanced First Response program gives the challenges participants need to expand their ideas, thinking, and reaction time to treat an injured patient.

Give yourself the advanced challenge you have been looking for and give us an opportunity to expand your world of basic care. Together we will be ....
